Some recent activity for us

We've been busy lately with school, work, and trying to get things organized around the house. We're finishing our basement in anticipation of the new arrival and the boys are going move to the basement.

We just went as a family to Cancun and then Michelle and I went to Austin, TX. Good times.

Well, Michelle is, but I did a lot of pre-planning work and pep talks to get us here.

Ok, that is a far stretch too. I didn't do that much. Michelle is 15 weeks along and pretty soon we'll find out if it's a boy or girl. Oh the wait...

Catching up on the Holidays - Easton's Program

Easton's Christmas program was fun this year. He was cute, and there was a little girl in his class that kept talking to him and hanging on him. He was very cavalier about it. Posted is the grand finale of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". It's very entertaining.

Ella's dance recital was the week before Christmas and she did A LOT better this time than last. She actually danced and moved around. :)

Afterward she hammed it up with her friend and the family.

Catching up on the Holidays - Getting our Tree

The day after Thanksgiving we went up to the east fork of the Bear River to get our Christmas tree with our friends, the Tuellers. It was a fun time and we ended up getting a great looking tree. The kids had fun playing with their friends too.






I think next year we'll do the same thing because it was so much fun and the permit only cost $12. Once we got home with it, it looked a lot bigger inside than it did here. Oh well, as they say, "bigger is better..."

Cruisin'

We just back from our vacation cruise down to Cabo San Lucas (starting in San Diego) and loved it. We went with our friends in the neighborhood, Adam and Tristen, and it was extremely fun. It was from a Monday to Saturday and was five nights of non-stop eating, sleeping, ||censored||, and eating. Lots of laughs too. I highly recommend a cruise on Royal Caribbean if you haven't done one.

This is us in Ensenada at La Bufadora, the blowhole. Talk about blowholes... Ensenada is a one and done town. Won't be planning a getaway there anytime... ever.

Well, that's all the photos I posted. The other ones revealed too much of the weight I gained eating 4 times a day. Buffets and being on a boat are great in theory, but leave you feeling a little lathargic when you get home. Back to the gym it is.

It's Halloween and the Ghouls are Out!

I have to admit that I haven't done nearly as much leading up to Halloween this year with my kids as I have done in years past. However, that said, I feel like I'll catch up and make them walk around neighborhoods until their little legs fall off. Michelle can stay at home and relax while passing out candy.

Our kids and the Hagen's kids at the same party place the next night. This place was an empty house in Alpine that the hosts were selling, and filled with Halloween decor everywhere. Very cool.

Tonight should be lots of fun. We're having a little eat before you treat with our neighbors out in our garage. Last year it went well, so Michelle and our neighbor decided to do it again. They're such go-getters. ;-P
